As we emerge from almost two years of uncertain times in the education system, the Vaughan Foundation needs our families and community more than ever. Our program is built from family donations, our annual events like Monster Mash and Color Run, and Community Partner donations, which means the last two years have seen a decline in fundraising.
Our mission has not changed, though, and we are still dedicated to providing our students with an exciting learning environment that will inspire them to become the future leaders our community needs.
Our program funds annual field trips that your student will remember for years to come. We provide tools and technology for exciting STEM projects in the school. We also fund continued education and certifications for our teachers to ensure your students are getting the best education and to keep our STEM certification in place. We help maintain the beautiful Vaughan garden, where teachers can take their classes for outdoor learning (and to take care of our chickens!)
It's important to note that we only use funds directly donated to The Foundation, which is separate from the PTSA, for our programs.
We understand that the school year comes with a lot of costs for families, so if you cannot make a financial donation but would like to contribute time, we would love to have you join our team of volunteers!
